1. The State Library of South Australia app does not collect any personal data.
2. The State Library of South Australia app does not access any information in photo album of the device.
3. The State Library of South Australia app does not access any folders on the device other than its own data storage folder.
4. The State Library of South Australia app supports sharing of information from “My Collection” via third party service providers (“Share” function). If you use the “Share” function, please refer to the privacy policy of corresponding service providers.

App Permission Requests
1. The State Library of South Australia app requires location access for interaction with Bluetooth beacon devices and providing location based Bluetooth beacon driven alerts and prompts.

The following permissions are required -
a) Location
● approximate location (network-based)
● precise location (GPS and network-based)

b) Other
● pair with Bluetooth devices
● access Bluetooth settings
● run at startup - NOTE - This will be removed in next released version, as beacon detection is only required when app is in the foreground

2. The State Library of South Australia app requires location access to determine and show your location on the map

The following permission is required -

● precise location (GPS and network-based)

3. The State Library of South Australia app may use camera and microphone of the device for the “My Collection” feature to allow users to record video(a), images(a) and audio(b) notes and storing them in personal collection section of the app for personal use.
“My Collection” data is stored on the users device (c, d).

The following permissions are required -
a) Camera
● take pictures and videos

b) Microphone
● record audio

c) Photos/Media/Files
● read the contents of your USB storage
● modify or delete the contents of your USB storage

4. The State Library of South Australia app requires an internet connection for content, and network status is checked prior to any requests (a, b).

5. The State Library of South Australia app uses the GoogleAPI client for updating location on map. Version 10.0.0 of this library requires the following permission.
NOTE - This permission is not required by us, and it is included only by the GoogleAPI client. This permission will be removed with the next release of State Library of South Australia app as it will use the updated GoogleAPI version 10.0.1
